Salem Gokulraj murder case: Madras High Court orders police to keep protecting the key witness

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) (India) – April 25, 2015 : The Madras High Court questioned Swathi and her family until 1 oclock in the afternoon, according to the judges.The trial was postponed until November 30.The main suspect S Yuvraj was arrested in 2015 near a railway track in Tamil Nadu's Namakkal district.S Yuvraj, the principal accused of murder, was sentenced to life in prison on March 8, 2022, along with nine other murder suspects, reportedly from the Gounder community.Gokulraj was allegedly murdered for allegedly in love with a girl from a different community, according to reports.15 people were arrested in the Crime Branch, Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID) on Thursday.

The Court observed that these precautions must be taken to ensure that Swathi comes before this Court without any doubt if she is questioned by this Court, according to the petition filed by Gokulraj's mother Chitra.The case was transferred from Namakkal Court to Madurai Districts third Additional Sessions Court (Section for Prevention), which convicted ten individuals, including Yuvraj, of life in prison on March 8, according to the Court.Yuvraj and ten others have appealed this sentence in the Madurai district of the Court.Gokularajs mother, CBCID, and CBI parties, among other things, had filed numerous papers seeking confirmation of Gokularaj's innocence in the case.
