The Department of School Education and Literacy (DSE) has launched an integrated Centrally Sponsored Scheme for School Education . The scheme has been aligned with the National Education Strategy (NEP) 2020 recommendations .

New Delhi, India, December 7: The Department of School Education and Literacy (DSE) has launched an integrated Centrally Sponsored Scheme for School Education, according to Samagra Shiksha, Minister of State for Education Annpurna Devi told Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.The scheme has now been aligned with the National Education Strategy (NEP) 2020 recommendations, according to the Minister, to ensure that all children have access to quality education in an equitable and inclusive classroom environment that should take care of their diverse background, multilingual needs, and different academic abilities, and make them active participants in the learning process.According to Samagra Shiksha, the Minister said that the scheme has been made available to extend the KGBVsGirls Hostel as far The Government's budget projection for 2022-23 is Rs 37,383.36 crore, up from a revised estimate of Rs 31050.15 crore; (ii) Support States in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), including: (iii) Supporting the establishment of schools in remote mountain areas; (iv) Emphasis on foundational knowledge and skills development; (ix) Supporting the development of girls by means of technology; (ix) Supporting the establishment Special state-specific programs are also offered under Samagra Shiksha for improving access, retention, and quality for girls by promoting enrollment drives, retention and motivation camps, gender sensitization courses, etc.KGBVs are residential schools for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, such as SC, ST, OBC, Minority and Below Poverty Line (BPL), which run from class VI to XII.
