NEW YORK (India), December 8, 2013: Sanjay Singh said on Thursday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has penetrated into Gujarat's BJP headquarters, making it a national party.Singh said that the AAP has expanded into the Fort, calling the People of Gujarat a 'Lab of the BJP'.In this election, we would have a 15 percent vote share.Gujarat is the home of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah.

The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for 27 years, and intruding on the fort was no easy task.Singh said in the Gujarat Assembly polls that the AAP has penetrated into the BJP's bastion.However, the ruling BJP has only thrashing its own record of 127 seats, according to the Election Commission, as the party dominated Punjab with a huge majority.According to the exit polls, the BJP would return to power for the seventh time in the state with a thumping margin.The counting of votes for the Gujarat Assembly elections began at 37 centers in 33 districts on Thursday.

For the counting of votes, there will be an additional 78 Assistant Election Officers.In the previous elections, 71 additional Assistant Election Officers were assigned to handle the electronically transmitted postal ballot system.Gujarat assembly elections were held in two phases on December 1 and 5.The expected voter turnout in Gujarat was 63.14 percent.

In the last assembly elections in 2017, Congress faced a tense battle against the ruling BJP.However, the AAP may deny Congress a large vote share by sacrificing a large vote share.
