NEW DELHI: The Bihar Cricket Association's Annual General Meeting was adjourned on Friday by the Supreme Court, which took place on September 25.However, a bench of Justices called DY Chandrachud and Hima Kohli ordered that the results, as far as the election of office bearers are concerned, be presented in a sealed case.An election officer's statement has indicated that six candidates have been voted unopposed. The AGM of the BCA will be held on September 25.

The BCA has denied this, according to the bench. To simplify this process, the deadline for this entry is September 30, 2022.In the meantime, the AGM will be held.According to the bench, the results of the AGM will be displayed in a sealed box before this court.

Atmaram Nadkarni, a BCA advocate, dismissed the argument, claiming that due process was followed. The Bihar Cricket Association cannot amend its own constitution, according to the Supreme Court, and was asked to submit an affidavit stating the procedure followed for its elections. The apex court was hearing a petition for a postponement of the Bihar Cricket Association's forthcoming election. The top court had earlier allowed the BCCIs constitution to be reformed and allowed its president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah to remain in office without having to complete the mandatory cooling-off period.
