Second foreign office consultations between India and Panama are held at Panama City

The 2nd Foreign Office Consultations between India and Panama were held in Panama City, on November 23 . The two sides discussed cooperation in multilateral forums .

Panama City, Panama City, November 24 : On November 23, India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that the 2nd Foreign Office Consultations between India and Panama were held in Panama City, on November 23.According to a release from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the Indian side was led by Saurabh Kumar, Secretary (East), while the Panama side was led by H.E.Mr Vladimir A Franco Sousa, Vice Minister of External Relations, covered topics such as trade and investment, pharmaceuticals, ICT, capacity building, and consular issues.The two sides also discussed cooperation in multilateral forums.

Mrs Janaina Tewaney Mencomo was summoned by Secretary (East).According to the MEA, the two countries must strengthen their cooperation, particularly in the economic arena, and expressed hope that Indian companies will use Panama's locational and logistical advantage to do business in the Americas.
