Gandhinagar (Gujarat), (Gujarat) (India), December 5 : According to the Election Commission data released on Monday, the voter turnout in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections till 9 a.m. was at 4.75%, followed by Mahesana (5.44%).Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote here in Ranip, Nishan Public School, with the lowest turnout recorded so far in Mahisagar on Monday, with 3.76% participation.In the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections, the election commission has installed 26,409 polling booths, and nearly 36,000 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be installed.According to Gujarats Chief Electoral Officer P Bharathi, over 29,000 presiding officers and 84,000 polling officers have been deployed in 14 districts to ensure the polls.93 are model polling booths, 93 are eco-friendly, another 93 are run by Divyang, and 14 are run by youth.
