Jaipur, Jan. 30: Officials said on Thursday that Customs agents at Jaipur International Airport confiscated 346 grams of gold worth Rs 18.05 lakh and over 47,000 packets of foreign cigarettes worth Rs 6.47 lakh.Officials said a passenger who came from Muscat by Salam Air was discovered with an electric meat grinder in his bag at 3:40 a.m., which seemed suspicious, on inspection of his checked-in baggage in the x-ray machine, dark images of some items inside the electric meat grinder were spotted.On suspicion of carrying or being in possession of such items, the passenger denied being in possession of or carrying such items.His checked-in luggage was confiscated due to suspicion.
