Mansa (Punjab) India : The Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested Punjabi singer Babbu Maan for a few hours in Mansa on Wednesday in connection with the moosewala murder case involving Sidhu Moosewala.Maan contacted Mansa after the summons.He has been identified, and as the further investigation continues, the police cannot reveal more than this, according to Mansa SSP Nanak Singh, who said Moosewala, 28, was shot and killed by unidentified assassinators in Mansa on May 29, a day after the state government cut his security cover.On arrival at the Mansa civil hospital, the Punjabi musician was shot at point-blank range and declared dead.
According to the probe, Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the daylight killing.In this case, Goldy Brar, his close aide who is said to be based in Canada, is also under scrutiny.Through Interpol, police have issued a Red Corner Warning against Brar, who had challenged him in the last assembly election on a Congress ticket but was defeated by AAPs Vijay Singla.
