Police now have facts from the RTO showing that 1600 bikes with 300 CC or more horsepower are registered in the area. Many high-performance bikers indulged in overspeeding, racing, and deadly bike stunts, as was seen in the past.It is dangerous for the riders to not wear helmets.Aside from that, many bikers customize their bikes by using modified silencers. It is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act.Singh said that sending notices to bikers by post is to bring the facts to the attention of their families and parents. So, the family members will voice reservations and check that a biker is following the rules the next time they suspect the biker is breaking some road rules.Parents were encouraged by traffic police to keep their children informed of the proper use of their vehicles and monitor them.
