This evening, the iconic Lal Chowk in Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) has been flagged off.The Great India Run will run 829 kilometers from Srinagar to New Delhi, from August 5 to August 15.The run celebrates the 75th anniversary of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative.The run, which is an initiative of iTV & iTV Foundation, builds on the success of the first chapter of the Great India Run in Srinagar in 2016, with Manoj Sinha, L-G J&K, and Kartik Sharma, a Rajya Sabha MP from Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

Arun Bhardwaj, an Ultramarathon runner, will lead the first leg of the run.At the Flag-off, LG Manoj Sinha praised the runners and wishes them all the best.Kartik Sharma, a Rajya Sabha MP, paid tribute to the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and encouraged people from all around the country to come and run during its various legs.I'm so excited to be here at Lal Chowk with Honble LG Manoj Sinha to see the Great India Run Flag Off.
