STF and Mumbai police arrest two in Varanasi for trying to assassinate a father-son team.

Two men arrested from Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, and Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police commissionerate (Mumbai) on Thursday . They admitted to receiving a deal from one Babua alias Chandrashekhar Gupta to murder Balram and his son for Rs three lakh .

Two men were arrested from Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, and Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police commissionerate (Mumbai) on Thursday for attempting to murder one Balram Gupta and his son Rajkumar Gupta in Moregaon market on February 14.When Kushwaha of Riva (Madhya Pradesh) and Yadav of Jaunpur were caught under a railway crossing bridge in Sarnath, in the same police station area, the STF said the Varanasi field unit team, led by inspector Anil Kumar Singh and MBVV crime branch cops, had arrived on Thursday morning.Three mobile phones have been recovered from the police.They admitted to receiving a deal from one Babua alias Chandrashekhar Gupta, who extorted money in Mumbai in 2016, to murder Balram and his son for Rs three lakh, as they suspected that the pair conspired to murder his brother.

Kushwaha and Yadav left the scene after their father and son died, causing them to leave the area.Nevertheless, Balram and his son both survived this assault.A complaint was lodged with Tulinj police station of Mumbai's MBVV commissionerate in accordance with articles of the IPC and the arms act.When the MBVV crime branch began investigating, it was revealed that Kushwaha and Yadav were hiding somewhere in Varanasi, and they contacted the STF for assistance in detaining them.
