Sukant Kadam has risen to the world No. 2 in the SL4 class .
New Delhi, India, December 9: Following his success on the international circuit in the last few months, Indian para shuttler Sukant Kadam has risen to the world No.2 in the SL4 class.In November, he also won a bronze medal at the BWF Para World Badminton championships in Tokyo.He smashed his way to a gold medal at the recently concluded Peru Para-Badminton International, defeating the ace shuttler of Singapore, Chee Hiong Ang.
With a score line of 21-14 and 21-15, he defeated Chee Hiong Ang in straight sets.The match lasted 32 minutes.The ace shuttler didnt put a foot wrong and won a great final, according to Sukant Kadam.I am so excited about being world number 2 because I put in a lot of time in preparation which culminated in the results that I achieved, which enabled me to become world number 2.It's great to finish 2022 as world number 2. According to the World No.2, I would like to improve on my success and continue excelling at this highest level.
