New Delhi (New Delhi)-NCP leader Supriya Sule today pleaded for the Union Home Ministry's help in the ongoing border dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka.Ms Sule said that people in Maharashtra are being beat up every day because the BJP is the ruling party in both the states.In the last ten days, a plot is being forged to break Maharashtra.(Home Minister) Ms Sules' comment was rejected by BJP MPs in Karnataka, who said the situation is subjudice and that it is a problem between two states.NCP members walked out of the House of Commons in protest.
It also claimed to 814 Marathi-speaking villages which now make up the southern state.However, Kartaka maintains that the demarcation done on linguistic lines as required by the States Reorganisation Act and the 1967 Mahajan Commission Report is not complete.
