Bengaluru (Karnataka) India (May 15) — According to Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, the police arrested the perpetrator in Tamil Nadu more than two weeks after a woman was reportedly assaulted with acid in Bengaluru.The attack, which is named Nagesh, was reportedly threw acid at the victims' faces after she turned down his marriage proposal.Last evening, Ktaka Police arrested Nagesh, a woman who attempted to kill a woman by dumping acid on her with the assistance of TN Police.The case will be heard in a fast-track court, and severe punishment will be levied.

A 24-year-old woman was injured by an acid attack on April 28 in West Bengaluru's Sunkadakatte neighborhood.The accused was arrested in Tamil Nadu on May 13 after an investigation.
