Teams from IMC will gather construction waste

Indore Municipal Corporation has formed separate departments in all 19 zones of the city . Each zone will have five to six employees from the public works department .

Indore is a city in India where the number of complaints regarding C&D waste lying unattended has increased, and officials from the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) have formed separate departments in all 19 zones of the city.All zonal officials were directed by IMC commissioner Pratibha Pal to form separate teams and deploy trucks to clear C&D waste in their respective areas as quickly as possible.According to IMCs additional commissioner Sandeep Soni, each zone will have five to six employees from the public works department and a vehicle will be provided to attend complaints and lift C&D from public areas such as highways, construction sites, etc.
