India Palghar (Maharashtra) (India) December 6: According to police, a 19-year-old man was arrested for reportedly raping a five-year-old child in Palghar on Tuesday.The suspect was apprehended on the basis of a complaint brought by the girls' parents.The shooting was reported on Sunday, according to officials.The child was outside her house when the accused discovered her alone.
The child returned home and told her mother about the incident.Following this, her parents called Boisar police and lodged a lawsuit against them.The police said that the accused had been arrested and that they were investigating the case based on their complaint, which was filed under IPC section 376 (Rape) and other relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).According to investigators, the accused was planning to escape arrest in Uttar Pradesh but was arrested before he could flee.
