Tension in Chaubeypur village as miscreants alter the colour of the shrine

Kanpur, India: After a portion of a religious shrine was painted in another shade by some unidentified miscreants, a large number of Muslim villagers came out in protest on Tuesday morning.A portion of the temple was painted with saffron colour by some unknown criminals on late Monday night, and inspector Chaubeypur Krishna Mohan Rai reached the site and opened an investigation in this regard.On Tuesday morning, enraged Muslim communities held a demonstration.Due to the assembly of a large number of people, police forces from Chaubeypur and Shivrajpur police stations and PAC personnel were requisitioned.

The religious place was again painted in green.This sacred place was established by a Chand of the village itself, according to police.On Tuesday night, a lawsuit was filed against unidentified men who committed the crucified act.We're in the process of identifying such men, and tough measures will be taken against them.
