Bhopal: Six people were injured in the collision while travelling from Kanyakumari to Madurai four years ago, and a session court in Chennai awarded over Rs 1.22 crore to the families of six people who were killed in a road crash in Tamil Nadu on Thursday.All the victims were from Bhopal and Ujjain, according to the survivors.The victims and their families were boarding to Madurai about 3.30 a.m. on January 17, 2018, according to lawyer Sunny Hingorani, who represented the families of the victims.Six pilgrims died and six others were wounded in the attack, according to additional district and session judge Atul Saxena, who held the vehicle owner and operator responsible and ordered them and the insurance company to pay Rs 122,89,000 to the families of the deceased and injured.
