COLOMBO, November 29: According to the country's cricket board, a three-member committee will look at the suspected sexual assault committed by Sri Lankan batter Danushka Gunathilaka during the T20 World Cup in Australia.According to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the investigative committee comprised of retired High Court judge Justice Sisira Ratnayake, attorney Niroshana Perera, and attorney Asela Rekawa will also investigate other alleged incidents involving the reigning Asia Cup winners during their stay in Australia.According to SLC, the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket will take aggressive disciplinary action against players and officials who are found to have committed dishonesty or negligence in carrying out their official duties upon receipt of the said report by the committee.According to the committee, Gunathilaka's conduct and other events will be immediately explained by the team leader.
