On Sunday, the country's first line of defense, the Border Security Force (BSF), was held at Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, in a rich traditional atmosphere of fervour and joy for the 58th anniversary.Chief Guest: The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai paid tribute to the spectacular parade.Senior officers from the Army, Civil Service, Punjab Police, and GNDU Amritsar were among the special guests present on the occasion, according to Rai.He recalled the role of BSF in many pivotal moments, like the 1971 War, when BSF personnel fought bravely against a numerically superior force while still in the nascent stage of its development.
On this occasion, the Seema Praharis repeat their service to the country and its motto, passing through the saluting base, portraying the Seema Praharis valour, saga, and dedication to the nation.The parade featured a 12 foot contingent, as well as the famed Camel Contingent and Camel Band, mounted columns, and a Communication contingent, demonstrating the force's technological advancements.
