Kochi: The CEE has ordered applicants for MBBS admissions to choose NRI quota seats for ten more days starting August 5.The bench of Justice Devan Ramachandran was reviewing two petitions (WP-C Nos.24275 and 249422022) arguing that the CEE will refuse to give the candidates NRI quota seats in lieu of their original choices. The case is unclear because the results of the NEET examinations have yet to be announced, according to government pleader PG Pramod, who represented the CEE, said in the order that it could not find favour with Pramod's submissions because the NEET examination results have yet to be published and that applicants are also allowed to choose for other or additional courses in the already submitted applications, arguing that it is unfair.
