The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has announced the launch of an online course on next-generation mobile wireless networks.

Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Megam Solutions, an Indian Institute of Technology, are teaming up to provide a six-month online certification course on Next-Gen Mobile Wireless Networks.

Participants will get to know the design of the next-generation mobile wireless networks, network infrastructure components, protocols, and various applications of the new mobile wireless networks, it added.5G is not just a network that can provide entertainment at high speeds, it is also one of Industry 4.0's basic building blocks.Prof V Kamakoti, the director of IIT Madras, said this course is being developed at a very convenient time when we anticipate job opportunities with this skill set in the near future in large numbers.IITM Pravatak is a leader in leading edge technology research and solution provider, according to Dr. MJ Shankar Raman, CEO of IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation.
