We wanted to be part of the World Cup squad for the first time when we had seen the World Cup heroes.We grew up watching Ajit Pal Singh, BP Govinda, and Ashok Kumar, and these were the names we admired.After seeing these icons, we began playing hockey.The 1975 World Cup was the peak of Indian hockey history.
