The majority of original series on YouTube will no longer be produced.

Washington, US, January 19: YouTube is set to cut back on a significant amount of original content produced by YouTube Kids Fund and the Black Voices Fund, which were established in 2020 and invested USD 100 million to benefit Black creators on the platform.Over the years, YouTube Originals has evolved its approach.It began with scripted shows and films geared towards creators in 2016 and was led by Susanne Daniels.The first season of originals, which was published in 2017, had 250 million views, according to YouTube.
