Google added a new language identification system and enhanced Safe Browsing feature to Chrome 103 App Store update . Chrome Actions will allow users to use commands such as Clear Browsing History, Open Incognito Tab, or Set Chrome as Default Browser .
Washington, US, June 24: Google revealed today that a number of new features will be added to Chrome's most recent version for iOS as part of a larger Chrome web browser update. The Google Enhanced Safe Browsing feature, which alerts you proactively to risky web pages, is one of the Chrome apps' most popular new features, according to TechCrunch.Other enhancements include a new user interface, the ability to designate Google's password manager as the source for autofill, a new language identification system, and more. Most of these enhancements have been available on Android and Chrome desktop computers for months or even years, but they are now available on iPhones and iPads in this update. This feature allows users of iOS devices to anticipate and alert them to dangerous websites by sending real-time data to Google Safe Browsing, which will allow them to change their usernames and passwords as required. In the browser's address bar, you can, for example, type commands such as Clear Browsing History, Open Incognito Tab, or Set Chrome as Default Browser. The application will immediately take you to the proper page.Since the Chrome address bar anticipates when a user will benefit from a Chrome Action based on the terms being typed, you don't need to know the correct command.Since April of 2020, both desktop and Android versions of Chrome have been available. Chrome's main screen has been changed to include more than just your most recent tabs, as previously only available on Android and desktop versions. You'll notice that the app now has access to the same Discover feed of personalized content as is available on the Google mobile apps home page.Google also updated Chrome's website translation tool, which lets websites be translated into the language of your choice with on-device machine learning, according to Google. As reported by TechCrunch, an enhanced language identification scheme will be launched on iOS that correctly detects the language of the page you're visiting and whether or not it needs to be translated. Also, as per the Chrome 103 App Store release notes, there have been some minor improvements. A few improvements have also been made to Chrome's three-dot (overflow) menu to better highlight the Reading List and Bookmarks tabs, which are now displayed higher on the list.
