Trichy: The government has asked the Trichy district integrated printers union to intervene to regulate the paper prices, the union said.The cost of raw materials, including ink and other chemicals, that were needed for printing units has increased dramatically.A bundle of 500 papers that was sold at Rs 150 before three months ago is now priced at Rs 250.According to the union, the full-size paper sheet that was sold at Rs 1,200 per bundle about three months earlier now retails at Rs 1,900.
