The state administration informs the Kerala High Court that the number of women involved in drug cases is increasing.

The number of young women accused of committing drug crimes is on the rise, according to the prosecution. The majority of those accused are under the age of 25. The accused has been in jail since February and that bail should be offered only after putting strict deadlines on it.

KOCHI (English) The Kerala high court has been told that the number of young women who are involved in drug cases is on the rise.The defendant brought the argument to the hearing on Arya Chelat's bail plea, who is one of the accused in a case where police confiscated narcotics worth about Rs3 lakh.The number of young women accused of committing drug crimes is on the rise, according to the prosecution, and the majority of those accused are under the age of 25.Prosecutors also argued that providing bail to the defendant would send a wrong message to the society.
