New Delhi, India, November 24: On Thursday, the Supreme Court decided to form a constitution bench to hear arguments on charges relating to polygamy and nikah-halala, which are traditionally practiced among Muslims, according to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud.The court was informed by Advocate Upadhyay that two judges have been dismissed and that a new bench would be formed.On the other hand, polygamy is the practice of having more than one wife or husband at the same time.
