New Delhi, India, December 7: The winter session will begin on Wednesday with 15 obituaries of deceased lawmakers on display in both houses.Opposition MPs, led by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, have asked Speaker to postpone the House for half the day in honor of veteran politician and sitting MP Mulayam Singh Yadav, who died this year.The Obituary list includes the names of one sitting Loksabha member, eight former Lok Sabha members, and six Rajya Sabha members, as well as Mulayam Singh Yadav.In the House, it is customary and common to make obituary contributions to the death of sitting members, Ministers, former members, national leaders, men and women who have played a vital role in the country's public life, as well as heads of state in foreign and friendly countries.
