COLOHAPUR (KOLHAPUR) – The Kolhapur police have arrested three people in connection with the 2007 Child Marriage Prevention Act.The defendants include a boy who had married a 13-year-old girl, his mother, and the minors' mother.According to police, the marriage took place in Shirol tehsil village in February this year, when the girls were 12 years and nine months.She is now aged just over 13 years old and married to a 20-year-old boy vehemently.

After investigating the case, a gramsevak, the village's child protection officer, wrote to the police to file a lawsuit against the three suspects, who are yet to be named.We brought the child and her mother to the Jagar convenor, Pramod Patil, who recited the poem.The girl informed the committee that she was firmly married, though her mother said she was unconcerned with the statute.According to him, we found the pictures of the girl with her husband and his family members celebrating the minors' birthday, which is the basis for a complaint being registered.
