Kerala High Court argues that the Chancellor who is the Governor is behaving like a child . The court is only concerned about the future of the students .
Kochi (Kerala) (India), December 7: In a petition demanding the removal of senate members of Kerala University, the Kerala High Court argued that the Chancellor who is the Governor is behaving like a child. The Single Bench of Justice Devan Ramachandran observed that this is not how people in high positions should act. It's personal.Because one does not like the person, pleasure cannot be taken away.
The Senate of Kerala University's position has also been challenged by the decision not to nominate individuals for the post of Vice-Chancellor.It is understood that you have no intention of nominating a new Vice-Chancellor.If the candidate for the new Vice President is elected, all deposed members of the Senate may be immediately reinstated. But there hasn't been any response from the university. The Chancellor is using the Kerala University Act, 1974, to prevent the Governor (Chancellor) from removing himself from office, and this Court has the ability to check the Chancellor's conduct. The petitioners argued that this Court's conduct is unfair, arbitrarily, or capricious. The Chancellor had no excuses for exercising his powers under section 18(3) of the Act, and the petitioners were not heard, the petitioners explained.
