Three people were arrested in Puri, Odisha, with brown sugar worth Rs 3 crore.

Odisha Police conducted a raid and confiscated more than 3 kilograms of brown sugar worth Rs 3 crore . The raid was conducted on a specific request by Odisha Police and Special Task Force .

Puri (Odisha) India: On Saturday, the Odisha Police conducted a raid and confiscated more than 3 kilograms of brown sugar worth Rs 3 crore at Mangalaghat Chakka in Puri.According to the police, the joint operation by Odisha Police and Special Task Force was conducted on a specific request.They busted illegal opioids and confiscated 3.192Kg of brown sugar from three individuals' hands, Susanta Patnaik alias Nanda, Raj Kishore Sahoo, and Manas Sahoo.According to Superintendent of Puri Police Kanwar Vishal Singh, the three were inter-district suppliers, among whom one kingpin, Susanta Patnaik, was arrested.

Puri police also launched the biggest Brown Sugar seizure ever, according to him.An investigation is ongoing.
