GHAZIABAD (English Peripheral Expressway): On Thursday, three people were injured when the vehicle in which they were traveling collided with a truck on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE).According to police, the crash happened around 7 a.m. due to lack of visibility on the road due to fog.All of the victims are in the hospital and their condition is critical.The perpetrators were identified as Harendra Singh (21), Ranbir Singh (24) and Roji (23), all of whom are residents of Bhatinda, according to police.

According to an eyewitness, the three victims were in a Fortuner car, while Ranbir was driving the car, according to Yogendra Singh, SHO, Masuri police station.The one of the trucks' tyres was punctured, and the driver had parked it adjacent to the road, according to a preliminary investigation.He didnt activate the vehicle's parking light.The Fortuner was driven by a 50-meter radius, and because of this, it crashed into the truck from behind.

The commuters had informed police and the hospital of the incident.An ambulance immediately arrived on the scene and rescued the wounded people.All three victims were taken to Delhis GTB Hospital, where their condition is now said to be critical, according to Singh.In the meantime, no charges have been filed against police.
