Three teenagers from Pollachi were detained for altering pictures of a Class IV student and his mother.

Three boys were arrested by Pollachi police in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu . They were arrested for morphing the photographs of a Class IV student and his mother .

COIMBATORE: On Saturday, three boys were arrested by Pollachi police in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu for morphing the photographs of a Class IV student and his mother and demanding Rs 40,000 from him.The Class IV boy, his father, 41 years old, and his mother, 31 years old, live in Makkinampatti near Pollachi.In Pollachi, the nine-year-old child is attending a private school.They took their son to a Hindi class taught by a woman in the neighborhood six months earlier.

The Hindi teachers son morphed the photographs of the Class IV student and his mother with the help of two friends aged about 14 and 15 years who were Class X students.The boys was given the morphed pictures and asked for money from him for not posting them on social media.In the last five months, a Class IV student took Rs 40,000 from his house and handed it over to the three boys.The boys' father noticed someone had stolen his money.

The man lodged a lawsuit with Pollachi East police inspector Ananda Kumar, who brought a lawsuit against the three boys who were in violation with laws under sections 292 (A), 384 of the Indian Penal Code, and sections 13 (C), 14 (1) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act.The three boys were picked up by a juvenile justice department and housed in an observation center for juveniles at Coimbatore's Lakshmi Mills Junction.
