(English) — Chandigarh, December 8, 2016 — Chitkara University announced a collaboration with NEC Corporation India, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation, for a comprehensive academic program designed to provide a hands-on training and research environment to future students in the areas of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AlML) and High-Performance Computing (HPC).NEC Corporation India and Chitkara University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).The agreement would allow the University to further educate its students, faculty, and academic researchers in the area of AI.It will also assist students in obtaining qualifications for being job-ready and finding appropriate employment opportunities within and outside the NEC, according to Professor Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University.
