Lucknow, United States, October 30 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that timely preparation of personnel, rescue operations, and awareness campaigns would minimize the impact of disasters to the maximum.The two-day 3rd Regional Conference on Disaster Management, which is hosted in Lucknow by the National Disaster Management Authority, GOI, was held in Lucknow.Yogi said that timely preparation of staff and rescue operations that are designed and implemented with the correct intention would only reduce the impact of disasters.He also called for the inclusion of disaster management and road safety in the school curriculum, and said that by educating people on how to prevent disasters such as floods, earthquakes, lightning, and fire incidents, the risk of life and property could be reduced.Yogi also praised Aapda Mitras' contribution to disaster prevention.

On occasion, the Chief Minister also revealed a flood atlas compiled by NRSC Hyderabad.According to the CM, 38 districts of UP were flooded every year.He said that his government had been paid Rs 100 crore to the Elgin Bridge in the state after coming to power.He said it had now only been four districts.
