Lucknow, May 13, 2018 – Shivpal Singh Yadav, the founder of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), told people to call him Chhote Netaji as they used to call him Mulayam Singh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party (Lohia), at an election rally in Jaswant Nagar in the Mainpuri parliamentary constituency on Wednesday.People in Mainpuri and Saifai called him bade mantri (senior minister) and I was called chhote mantri (junior minister).I now want you to call Akhilesh as Chhote Netaji, as people in Mainpuri and Etawah used to refer to him as a Netaji, and Samajwadi Party workers also used to refer to him as a netaji, and Akhilesh Yadav's wife, Dimple Yadav, is running for the Mainpuri seat, which was vacant after Mulayam Singh Yadav's death.I am calling on the people of Mainpuri to help her win the bypoll with a grand margin, said Shivpal Yadav.He also attacked BJP candidate Raguraj Singh Shakya, who was once believed to be close to him.
