New Delhi, India, August 18: On Thursday, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan met with Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highway in Mumbai, to promote the cause of the National Road Safety Mission in India.According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway, about eighty thousand people are killed in road accidents every year, which is equivalent to 13 percent of the total death toll worldwide.In the majority of cases, accidents occur due to recklessness or a lack of road safety awareness of the driver.Road safety awareness is equally vital as any other basic survival skill.Amitabh has worked with a variety of social organizations over the years, including being the Goodwill Ambassador for the Polio UNICEF campaign, the United Nations Ambassador for Girl Child, and the Swachh Bharat Mission initiative.

Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Vikas Bahls Good Bye alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, and Pavail Gulati in the film on September 9.The filmmakers of the film recently revealed the release date, October 7, 2022.In addition to these two films, Big B has also wrapped up his shoot for his forthcoming project Uunchai, in which Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani appear.The release date for the film is still unknown.
