Judge in Bundi district orders police to search for a witness and bring him in court in next 11 days . The order is applicable to six ongoing cases in the Keshoraipatan civil court .

JAIPUR: An exasperated judge in Bundi district has asked police to search for a witness and bring him in court in the next 11 days in order to close the case's appeal, which has been pending for more than five years due to his non-cooperation.On social media, Vikas Nehra, the civil and judicial magistrate of Keshoraipatan, made the order.On June 20, he directed a Kapren police station officer to locate ASI Bhagwan Singh and bring him the witness, seeking for him swarg lok se patal lok tak (from heaven to hell), and order his appearance as a witness on the next day, on July 5.The order is actually applicable to six ongoing cases in the Keshoraipatan civil court.

But he wasn't there at the time, even after being summoned multiple times.The court was unable to deal with these lawsuits due to this.All of these cases have more than five years of history.To curb pendency, the Rajasthan high court recently urged the lower courts to dismiss cases of five to ten years at the earliest.
