Today's cyber security conference will be opened by Kerala's chief minister, Pinarayi Vijayan.

Kerala Police to launch the 15th edition of Cocon, the annual cyber security and hacking conference . The last two versions of Cocon were released online due to the pandemic .

On Friday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will address the 15th edition of Cocon, the annual cyber security and hacking conference hosted by Kerala Police in partnership with the Information Security Research Organization at Grand Hyatt Hotel.At the two-day launch, he will unveil the Kerala Police's anti-drone mobile vehicle.The symposium aims to highlight, inform, understand, and broaden knowledge of information privacy, data integrity, and privacy.The last two versions of Cocon were released online due to the pandemic.

Following the pandemic, Ramachandran said the use of the internet among students has increased, and that has resulted in more cyber bullying of children.He advised students to use the internet with caution and thanked the police for launching a program to educate students about cyber bullying.Industrial minister P Rajeeve and MLA KN Unnikrishnan will be the chief celebrant at Cocon's opening ceremony.Admiral R Harikumar, the Chief of Naval Staff, will deliver the keynote address.

The conference will also feature Vice Presidents of the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children Guillermo Galarza and Maria Pilar, German cyber security researcher David Bapsty, and French defense researcher Matilda Venalt.The conference aims to serve as a platform for various corporate and government departments, including intelligence departments, research departments, industry executives, and players to make the cyber world a better place.As part of the conference, various scientific, non-technical, legal, and community activities will be held.Kailash Satyarthi, the newest Nobel Laureate, will inaugurate the Counter Child Sexual Exploitation Track on Friday, where they will address the violence against children.

As part of Cocon, various workshops were held on Thursday.Multi-cloud protection, android-iOS-IoT protection, electronic warfare, and malware analysis were among the topics addressed.On Friday, the workshops will resume.
