LUCKNOW: On Friday morning, a woman and her two children were run over by a train near Badshahnagar railway station in Lucknow.While it is thought to be a case of suicide, the police are yet to know the precise reasons for the incident.Madhu Gupta (36) and her two children Anya Bhushan Gupta (8) and Amish Bhushan Gupta (2.5-years-old) have been named the deceased.They were residents of the Balda area in Nishatganj.

Mahesh Gupta, the North Eastern Railway's public relations officer, said, Three people were run over by the Oscillation Monitoring system (OMS) train, which was headed to Gorakhpur for a rail track inspection.The crash occurred 100 meters from the manned level crossing, and it occurred.According to railway staff who witnessed the incident, the woman reportedly waited for the train and suddenly walked in front of the OMS, which had one engine and two coaches.Since the family of the victim is in a deep pain, we're yet to speak with them to see the sequence of events, said investigation officer Ramesh Kumar Patil.
