Two individuals arrested in connection with the murder of two women . Mutilated bodies of two women were found in two separate water bodies in Mandya district .

Mandya: Two individuals have been arrested in the Dabaspet of Tumakur district in connection with the murder of two women whose mutilated bodies were discovered in two separate water bodies in Mandya district just over two months ago.The bodies were discovered at the CDS Canal in Arakere village in Srirangapatna taluk and at another canal in Pandavapura taluk.The accused are both women from Haravu village in Pandavapura taluk and the other from Kodihalli Colony in Ramanagar district, according to Parvati, a resident of Hosadurga, and Gita aliyas Putti from Chamarajanagar.According to police, the gunman has already killed three people and planned to murder five more.IGP (Southern Range) Praveen Madhukar Pawar told reporters that the suspect lured the victims to Mysuru city under the pretense of providing them with jobs.

According to police, the accused murdered Parvati on May 30 and Gita on June 3.Since the upper portion of both bodies was not discovered, police were compelled to locate the suspect.As part of the probe, Pawar learned that the police distributed over 10,000 pamphlets.Nine teams were formed to track down the suspect.

The police team received a Rs 1 lakh reward.
