For establishing permanent electricity connections at two housing projects, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has requested the freezing of about Rs 3.65 crore in the bank account of Bajwa Developer Group. They are being carried out in Mohalis Sectors 123 and 117, according to Justice Amol Rattan Singh and Justice Lalit Batra, who issued the order, also said that an interim order, directed by the PSPCL (Punjab State Power Corporation Limited), would continue to operate at both the projects that were disconnected on February 19th.Both the projects have been sold by Bajwa Developer Group, according to PSPCL's counsel, who said that the High Court had ordered that the power corporation restore temporary electricity connections to the petitioners only for two years, and that the utility's responsibility for providing the electricity connection would be the responsibility of the utility, which is presumably being incurred by Ms Bajwa Developer, who would pay PSPCL for the temporary electricity connection at the cost of the project. The case will be heard
