New Delhi, India, December 8: The US Food and Drug Administration placed the Halol plant in Gujarat, Gujarat, under Import Alert on Thursday.According to a statement from the pharmaceutical company to stock exchanges, the Import Alert means that all future deliveries of products produced at this plant will be barred from entering the US market until the plant meets CGMP requirements.CGMPs are defined as procedures that ensure the proper planning, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities.The USFDA has banned 14 of the company's products from this Import Alert, subject to certain conditions, according to the statement.
