New Delhi, India, December 6: After a transit remand of Gautam Navlakha, accused in the 2018 Bhima Koregaon lawsuit, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri apologized to Delhi High Court for criticizing Justice S Murlidhar for granting bail to activist Gautam Navlakha in 2018.On Tuesday, the apology was presented to the division bench, consisting of justices Sidharth Mridul and Talwant Singh, and the bench asked Agnihotri to appear before the court in the next hearing.In the case against Agnihotri, the court had filed suo moto contempt charges.Agnihotri's counsel submitted an affidavit stating that his client's tweets were deleted.

Agnihotri was ordered to appear before the court on the next day of hearing, on March 16, 2023.Since he is a contemplator, we are asking him to remain present.Does he have any difficulties if he has to demonstrate remorse in person?The bench said that remorse cannot be expressed by way of an affidavit.
