Vypeen locals will hold a night walk

Around 300 women from Vypeen will walk the nightwalk on Tuesday . The islanders are planning to walk from Vanchi Square to Menaka Junction at 7.30pm .

Kochi: The islanders are planning to walk from Vanchi Square to Menaka Junction at 7.30pm on Tuesday, despite the government's appeal to expand Vypeen bus services to the city.Around 300 women from Vypeen will walk the nightwalk, according to general secretary Anil Plavians of the Federation of Residents Associations of Goshree Islands (FRAG).In the meantime, actor Anna Ben sent the chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan an open letter, in which she repeated the same complaint.Since the Goshree bridges were constructed, it has been 18 years.
