Tirana: Sali Berisha, the Albanian opposition leader, was assaulted in the chest by a male bystander as he led a crowd of his party's supporters to central Tirana on Tuesday, just meters from the summit site for the EU summit, to demand early elections and oppose Prime Minister Edi Rama's government.The attacker was arrested by police but was later due to address the rally.He denies the charges.
