While presenting Karnataka Rathna to Shri Puneeth Rajkumar posthumously, NTR Jr breaks down in tears and remembers his deceased friend.

NTR Jr, a man of the masses, is a dedicated husband, a loving father, and above all, an ideal companion, as it is well-known.The Karnataka State Government recently invited him to attend the Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations and participate in the presentation of the Karnataka Rathna Award to Shri Puneeth Rajkumar, who was one of the chief guests.Karnataka Chief Minister Mr Basavaraj Bommai welcomed him warmly.When remembering his late friend Shri Puneeth Rajkumar, NTR Jr became deeply emotional, saying, It is the one and only Sri Puneeth Rajkumar who has won a kingdom simply by his appearance and smile, without ego and without being egoistic, without waging a war.
