New Delhi (New York): The Parliament's winter session will begin on Wednesday.The Winter Session of Parliament will begin today and run until December 29.The BJP-led Central Government agenda for the winter session includes 16 new bills.Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to speak with the press ahead of the first day of the session.On the first day of the session, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar will officiate in the Lok Sabha to pay respects to members who passed away during the inter-session period.

The National Dental Commission Bill, 2022, was introduced in Lok Sabha on December 9, 2019 and sent to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.The Bill of 2022, which amends the parent Act, seeks to make some of the procedures simpler in order to make them more accessible to all parties.The Anti-Maritime Piracy Bill was unveiled on February 11th, 2013 at the Parliament's premises, aiming to implement national anti-maritime piracy legislation in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), to provide the legislative framework within the country for the prosecution of individuals for illicit maritime offenses committed on high waters outside India's territorial jurisdiction.The All-party meeting, which was hosted by both Congress and the Trinamool Congress (TMC Parties also called for more time to be given to the opposition and that their voices be heard not be muzzled.
