LUCKNOW: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has organized a three-day brainstorming session in Uttar Pradesh, focusing on the forthcoming municipal body elections.Over the next two years, a long campaign centered around corruption in municipal bodies is expected to begin, as the party aims to capitalize on the numerous campaigning and anti-corruption initiatives that have been launched against the state government.AAP has competed in three levels of elections in the United Province (UP), including Lok Sabha and assembly, but it hasn't had as much success as it did when it competed in 2017.In the zila panchayat elections, it received approximately 40 lakh votes in the state, enabling it to try it out in 2019 and 2022.

The municipal body election isn't about establishing a government. We've fought on the front foot against the BJP-led government in the state for about two years, which is why I have 23 charges against me.We have protested against local issues, raised corruption issues, and even occupied a significant amount of space in UP.According to AAP MP and UP chief Sanjay Singh, we will put this to the test in the coming polls, where we will ask for a chance to perform and show people what we are capable of.

This will be followed by the appointment of a mohalla as the head of department. The panchayat committee met on Friday, with the leader of the group, Vinay Patel, discussing the challenges to be addressed at the village level. These will be followed by meetings of the parties' youth wing, students wing, and women's wings. The party's primary agenda will include abuse in many aspects of everyday life, including ration cards, work, electricity, and farmers.
